Aligned is a supplemental primary care benefit included with the member’s employer-sponsored medical plan through Karias Health. Members compare clinics and book a visit through Aligned, or text the Aligned support team for help getting set up. If the member needs care through their traditional insurance, such as a specialist like a cardiologist, the Aligned doctor refers them back to Karias for support.
What does it cost?
Every member has clinic options at no added cost, even before meeting their deductible. Pricing for other services is shown clearly and up front on Aligned, and 24/7 virtual urgent care is available at no added cost.
Are Aligned providers in-network?
Aligned is a supplemental benefit, so it’s separate from the insurance network. Members don’t need to check network status first; Aligned’s team helps them find a fit.
Who is eligible?
All employees and dependents enrolled in their employer-sponsored medical plan with Karias Health, for clients who offer Aligned. It’s a strong fit for members struggling to find primary care or looking for a lower-cost option.
Does a member have to switch doctors?
No. Aligned is optional. Members can keep their current doctor.
